- 200 ml sea buckthorn juice (blend 4 handfuls of fresh or frozen sea buckthorn with a little water and strain)
- 2 handfuls of finely sliced fresh pumpkin
- ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder
- a pinch of black pepper
- a small piece of fresh ginger root
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 cup of plant milk
- 2 teaspoons of maca root powder
- 2 tablespoons sweetener of choice
- plant milk whipped cream (@minimalistbaker has a great recipe for coconut whipped cream)
- sea buckthorn biscuits
The cooking process, as with any smoothie, is very simple. Blend together all prepared ingredients until a pleasant, enjoyable texture is obtained.
